Be part of the work
Every meaningful change begins with someone getting involved.
Creating opportunities for children and young adults with disabilities takes a community. Whether you bring time, expertise, resources or a willingness to collaborate, there are meaningful ways to contribute to the work of S4UA Foundation.
- Companies and foundations
- Individual supporters
- Volunteers
- Coaches and trainers
- Schools and local organisations
Why get involved
A stronger support system starts with people coming together.
Sport can create opportunities for participation, confidence, connection and growth. But meaningful inclusion also needs support around the child. Schools, coaches, families, communities, individuals and organisations all have a role to play.
Through its work across Maharashtra, S4UA Foundation collaborates with school communities and other supporters to help create more opportunities for children and young adults with disabilities.
There is no single way to contribute. The right starting point depends on what you can bring and how you would like to take part.
Find your pathway
Different strengths. A shared purpose.
Whether you represent an organisation or want to contribute as an individual, explore the ways you could become part of the S4UA community.
01Companies and foundations
Partner with purpose
Companies and foundations can explore opportunities to contribute resources, expertise, funding or long-term collaboration in support of inclusive sport, school initiatives and related programmes.
- Corporate and foundation partnerships
- Support for sports and school initiatives
- Sensory and therapy room support
- Equipment or resource support
- Collaboration on relevant future initiatives
Every partnership is shaped through conversation. Specific arrangements and documentation are confirmed directly with S4UA.
02Individual supporters
Make your support count
Every contribution begins with a choice to take part. Individuals can support the work by sharing S4UA's initiatives, helping with fundraising, contributing resources or exploring a financial contribution.
- Supporting or sharing fundraising campaigns
- Helping spread awareness
- Exploring a donation
- Introducing S4UA to potential supporters
- Taking part in relevant community initiatives
Donating is one way to help, not the only one. Sharing, introducing and showing up all matter too.
03Volunteers
Bring your time and skills
People bring different strengths to community work. If you would like to contribute your time, professional skills, organisational experience or simply a willingness to help, start a conversation with S4UA about where your interests might fit.
- Event and activity support
- Communications and awareness
- Professional or organisational skills
- Community outreach
- Other relevant areas of support
On the contact form, choose "Volunteering" as your topic. Opportunities depend on current needs, and any involvement with children takes place with appropriate guidance and supervision.
04Coaches and trainers
Help create opportunities through sport
Coaches and trainers play an important role in making sport more accessible. If you have relevant coaching, training or sports-development experience, connect with S4UA to explore whether your skills could support the work.
- Sports coaching expertise
- Training and capacity-building
- Support for teacher-coaches
- Knowledge sharing and practical workshops
- Relevant district-level collaboration
This is an invitation to enquire, not an open recruitment. Opportunities vary by location and current needs.
05Schools and local organisations
Build stronger local connections
Schools and local organisations understand their communities and the needs within them. Working together can help identify opportunities, strengthen local support and explore how inclusive sport and related initiatives could benefit children and young adults with disabilities.
- School and programme enquiries
- Local community collaboration
- Sports and training support
- Sensory and therapy room needs
- Connections with relevant local stakeholders
S4UA cannot serve every school or locality immediately. Each possible collaboration is discussed and shaped together.
More than one way to help
Bring what you can. Start where you are.
