Giving guidance

How to give from India and from abroad.

Indian law treats donations from India and from outside India differently. Please follow the route that applies to you.

Domestic contributions

Giving from India

  • Use the QR code above to give in Indian rupees from an Indian bank account or UPI app.
  • Share your PAN with your details so we can issue an 80G certificate.
  • For bank transfers or cheques, contact Pooja for account details.

Giving from outside India

S4UA programmes can receive foreign donations through our FCRA-registered partner, Kai Bapuso N. Z. Marathe Vidhayak Sanstha. Foreign contributions are received and accounted for by the Sanstha.

Your receipt and tax certificate

  1. Send your name, amount, date, transaction ID, PAN and email after you donate.
  2. We confirm your donation by WhatsApp or email.
  3. Your receipt is emailed within 7 working days.
  4. Indian taxpayers receive an 80G certificate with the receipt.

How can I donate to S4UA Foundation?

From India, scan the official QR code with any UPI app, then send us your payment details so we can issue your receipt. Go to the QR code.

Do I need to make a large donation?

No. Contributions according to your means are welcome. Every sincere contribution becomes part of a shared effort.

What does my donation support?

Contributions support S4UA's work across its programmes. The QR code is a general donation route. If you would like your contribution to go to a particular programme, mention it when you send your details.

What should I do after making a payment?

Send Pooja Mehra your full name, amount, date, UPI transaction ID, PAN and email address on WhatsApp at +91 9820368026 or by email. We will email your receipt within 7 working days.

Can a company or foundation contribute?

Yes. Interested organisations can contact Pooja to discuss a potential contribution or partnership and the appropriate next steps. See corporate support.

Will I receive a receipt, and is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. Every donor receives a receipt by email within 7 working days of sending their details. Donations from Indian taxpayers are eligible for a deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, and we send an 80G certificate when you share your PAN.

Can I donate from outside India?

Yes. S4UA programmes can receive foreign donations through our FCRA-registered partner, Kai Bapuso N. Z. Marathe Vidhayak Sanstha. Foreign contributions are received and accounted for by the Sanstha. Please do not use the QR code for foreign contributions. See international guidance.
